Several Shot On Violent Easter Night Throughout Baltimore

One person is dead and several others are injured after overnight shootings in Baltimore, authorities say.

Officers were first called to the 600 block of Chestnut Hill Avenue around 10:40 p.m., Sunday, April 9 where they found a 28-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds.

Medics rushed the victim to a hospital, where they encountered a 25-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds who appeared to have been at the same location.

Both victims were treated and are expected to survive their injuries.

An hour later at 11:40 p.m., police were called to the 300 block of South Beechfield Avenue where they found a 40-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The man was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.

Baltimore police were called to investigate yet another shooting around 3 a.m., Monday, April 10 after a victim checked himself into a local hospital. 

The 37-year-old man is reportedly in critical condition fighting for his life.

Police have not yet released information on any potential motives or suspects in the above shootings.
